Shawn Sloan is the Corporate Fellow for Artificial Intelligence at The Aerospace Corporation. He has a strong background in artificial intelligence, data science, and systems engineering, and has been pivotal in advancing AI projects that align with Department of Defense and National Security objectives. His previous roles include serving as the Technical Director of the Digital Applications Center and AI principal engineer for AI Defense Applications. Shawn’s expertise spans deep reinforcement learning, data strategy, and enterprise rollouts of large language models.
Currently, Shawn focuses on rolling out AI tools to the workforce, shaping Aerospace’s AI strategy, fostering strategic partnerships and delivering innovative solutions leveraging AI for the National Security Space enterprise. His leadership and technical expertise continue to drive advancements in AI for space, making him a respected figure in the industry.
