Tim Lynch, Vice President; Space Security Missions Mission Strategy & Advanced Capabili􏰀es

Tim is the Vice President of Mission Strategy and Advanced Capabili􏰀es for Space Security Missions at Lockheed Mar􏰀n Space. In this role, Tim works with the U.S. Government and its allies to develop space solu􏰀ons with a par􏰀cular focus on these mission areas. Tim leads Lockheed Mar􏰀n’s developmental efforts from architectural design through research & development and ul􏰀mately defining opera􏰀onal warfigh􏰀ng capabili􏰀es. He also oversees the coordina􏰀on of investments in future capabili􏰀es with those of teammates in industry, academia, research labs, and the U.S. Government to establish new architectures responsive to emerging threats to space and missions.
Prior to his current role, Tim served as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of Frontgrade Technologies, where he was responsible for defining product roadmaps, market strategies, business development ini􏰀a􏰀ves, opera􏰀onal priori􏰀es, and technology investment strategies to drive growth and innova􏰀on. This expanded scope included aligning opera􏰀onal execu􏰀on with strategic objec􏰀ves and fostering partnerships to enhance organiza􏰀onal capabili􏰀es.
Prior to Frontgrade Technologies, Tim held the posi􏰀on of Vice President of the Mul􏰀-Domain Architecture Group for the Space and Airborne Segment at L3Harris. In addi􏰀on, Tim held the roles of General Manager of Mission Solu􏰀ons Group, Director of Advanced Programs, and Engineering Manager. These posi􏰀ons required deep knowledge in mission areas such as Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Electronic Warfare, and Communica􏰀ons. This combina􏰀on of skills allowed Tim to play pivotal roles in driving mission architectures, strategy, and innova􏰀on within dynamic and complex warfighter environments.
Tim holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Florida State University, along with an execu􏰀ve business strategy cer􏰀fica􏰀on from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
